The broad X-ray iron line observed in many active galactic nuclei spectra is thought to originate from the accretion disc surrounding the putative supermassive black hole. We show here how to perform the analytical integration of the geodesic equations that describe the photon trajectories in the general case of a rotating black hole (Kerr metric), in order to write a fast and efficient numerical code for modelling emission line profiles from accretion discs.  相似文献

本文对东南极拉斯曼丘陵出露的石榴斜长角闪岩中的角闪石进行了40Ar-39Ar年龄测定,分别得到角闪石视年龄1586Ma、1011~1080Ma、761Ma和529~582Ma,角闪石坪年龄1036Ma和554Ma,角闪石Ar-Ar等时线年龄1010Ma,这些同位素年龄证据,首次完整地记录了该区所经历的几乎所有构造变质热事件,为近几年国内外地质学家关于该区构造变质热事件争论的焦点问题,即晚元古代的1000Ma格林维尔事件(Grenvilian)与早古生代的500Ma泛非事件(Pan-African)孰轻孰重以及前者是否存在,提供了答案。角闪石的40Ar-39Ar年龄测定结果表明,拉斯曼丘陵地区经历了复杂的多期变质演化历史,其原岩可能形成于早-中元古代,占主导地位的应该是晚元古代的1000Ma格林维尔事件,而500Ma泛非事件则是晚期较强烈的变质热事件。  相似文献

柴达木盆地东缘典型剖面(古)土壤及其黄土线质的宏观特征和理化分析表明,本区晚更新世以来气候曾有几次较大的波动,反映了全球冰量影响的气候波动以及东亚季风气候的强弱变化特征。揭示出气候变化过程中温度和降水并不同步,温度主要受地球轨道变化引起的太阳辐射的影响;降水则主要取决于冬、夏季风的浊弱对比关系,夏季风盛行时,降水丰沛。间冰段古土壤Sm的土壤发生特征和强度,揭示了除低温引起的蒸发减少外,降水丰沛也是  相似文献

康古尔金矿区分布着一系列的次火山岩 ,这些次火山岩与金矿体相伴产出。从次火山岩的Rb- Sr等时线年龄及单颗粒锆石表面蒸发法 2 0 7Pb/2 0 6Pb年龄资料看 ,次火山岩形成于 30 0~ 2 82 Ma。而石英正长斑岩单颗粒锆石 2 0 7Pb/2 0 6Pb年龄值 ( 593Ma)反映了岩体侵位过程中捕获了基底岩石中古锆石的年龄信息。进一步推测在阿齐山—雅满苏火山岛弧之下可能存在前寒武纪陆壳基底  相似文献

The global positioning system meteorology (GPS/MET) experiment was the first practical demonstration of global navigation satellite system (GNSS)-based active limb sounding employing the radio occultation technique. This method measures, as principal observable and with millimetric accuracy, the excess phase path (relative to propagation in vacuum) of GNSS-transmitted radio waves caused by refraction during passage through the Earth’s neutral atmosphere and ionosphere in limb geometry. It shows great potential utility for weather and climate system studies in providing an unique combination of global coverage, high vertical resolution and accuracy, long-term stability, and all-weather capability. We first describe our GPS/MET data processing scheme from excess phases via bending angles to the neutral atmospheric parameters refractivity, density, pressure and temperature. Special emphasis is given to ionospheric correction methodology and the inversion of bending angles to refractivities, where we introduce a matrix inversion technique (instead of the usual integral inversion). The matrix technique is shown to lead to identical results as integral inversion but is more directly extendable to inversion by optimal estimation. The quality of GPS/MET-derived profiles is analyzed with an error estimation analysis employing a Monte Carlo technique. We consider statistical errors together with systematic errors due to upper-boundary initialization of the retrieval by a priori bending angles. Perfect initialization and properly smoothed statistical errors allow for better than 1 K temperature retrieval accuracy up to the stratopause. No initialization and statistical errors yield better than 1 K accuracy up to 30 km but less than 3 K accuracy above 40 km. Given imperfect initialization, biases ≫ 2 K propagate down to below 30 km height in unfavorable realistic cases. Furthermore, results of a statistical validation of GPS/MET profiles through comparison with atmospheric analyses of the European Centre for Medium-range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) are presented. The comparisons indicate the high utility of the occultation data in that very good agreement of upper troposphere/lower stratosphere temperature (better than 1.5 K rms, ≪ 0.5 K bias) is found for a region (Europe+USA) where the ECMWF analyses are known to be good, but poorer agreement for a region (Southern Pacific) where the analyses are known to be degraded.  相似文献

The CUTLASS Finland radar has been run in a two-beam special scan mode, which offered excellent temporal and spatial information on the flows in the high-latitude ionosphere. A detailed study of one day of this data revealed a convection reversal boundary (CRB) in the CUTLASS field of view (f.o.v) on the dayside, the direction of plasma flow either side of the boundary being typical of a dawn-cell convection pattern. Poleward of the CRB a number of pulsed transients are observed, seemingly moving away from the radar. These transients are identified here as the ionospheric signature of flux transfer events (FTEs). Equatorward of the CRB continuous backscatter was observed, believed to be due to the return flow on closed field lines. The two-beam scan offered a new and innovative opportunity to determine the size and velocity of the ionospheric signatures associated with flux transfer events and the related plasma flow pattern. The transient signature was found to have an azimuthal extent of 1900 ± 900 km and an poleward extent of 250 km. The motion of the transient features was in a predominantly westward azimuthal direction, at a velocity of 7.5 ± 3 km.  相似文献

Two deep-sea cores in the northwest Pacific have been analysed for sedimentology, mineralogy and environmental magnetism. The results show that after eliminating the interference from volcanism, several proxies such as quartz content, mass susceptibility and anhysteretic magnetic remanence can be used to indicate the eolian deposit from East Asia, and provide information on paleo-atmospheric circulation. A comparison of eolian record in Cure RC10-175 with its oxygen isotopic curve has revealed that the peaks of eolian accumulation occurred at the climatic “optimum” of the Holocene and the last interglaciation, showing the fairly complex nonlinear relationship between continental/pelagic eolian records and the global glacial cycles as well as within the climatic and environmental system. 在高分辨率14C测年、岩石、生物、化学、同位素、气候及磁性地层学研究成果基础上,通过不同沉积背景典型钻孔的沉积学分析,运用层序地层学理论,对东海陆架全新统进行了高分辨率层序划分及对比;建立了全新世层序地层格架及海平面变化过程;提出了相应的层序成因模式。研究结果表明,东海陆架全新统相当于一个发育中的六级(1~10ka)层序,可进一步划分为3个七级(0.1~1ka)层序和若干个更次级层序。代表1个六级或3个七级周期相对海平面变化过程中叠加有若干更次级的海平面波动,它们与地球旋回谱系中的太阳带、历法带密切相关。七级层序具有与三级层序相近的内部构型和成因格架。在东海陆架全新世沉积演化过程中,长江三角州至少有3次不同程度地越过东海陆架进入冲绳海槽,并滞留有至少3层海侵改造“残积砂”沉积。在东海陆架全新世海平面变化期间,最大海平面时期为约距今6~5ka,大致高于现今海平面2~4m,最低海平面在距今10ka左右,大约低于现今海平面130m。目前,由于温室效应的影响,海平面仍呈小幅度波浪式上升。事实证明,层序地层学不仅丰富了现代海洋沉积学的内容,而且解决了许多海洋沉积学未能解决的问题。  相似文献

Abstract: This paper synthesizes the geotectonic background, genetic types and metallogenetic relations of the Mesozoic granitoids in the East China continental margin. By the Mesozoic, the Siberia Plate, North China Plate and South China Plate amalgamated together, resulting in formation of a unified Eurasia super–continent. Since the late Triassic to early Jurassic period, the territory of East China gradually became a Cordilleran style active continental margin. During the Jurassic to early Cretaceous (early to middle episodes of Yanshanian orogeny), the Paleo-Pacific plate strongly collided with and subducted under the Eurasia continent, reactivated the consolidated East China continental margin. The granitoids of both transformation series and syntexis series were generated. Many granitoid-related large and giant metal deposits were formed. Furthermore, the W, Sn, Be, Nb, Ta and U mineralizations are mostly associated with the transformation series; while the Fe, Cu, Mo and Au mineralizations are mostly associated with the syntexis series. The late Yanshanian orogeny (late Cretaceous) began a transition to the western Pacific style continental margin. A tensional environment resulted in development of alkaline granitoids and formation of continental red basins. The Cenozoic orogeny was characterized by a backarc spreading and rifting regime in this region.  相似文献
